Sage 50 2018 U.S. Edition Overview

Sage has recently released version 2018 for Sage 50 U.S. Edition (formerly known as Peachtree accounting). It is one of the best business management software. It come with various inbuilt tools as well as some enhances features which make accounting extremely easy. It comes in desktop version with anytime and anywhere cloud access.  

All previous users of sage will receive a notification regarding upgrade. This new version comes with several updates and improvement. So, the errors you were facing earlier like Sage 50 Upgrade Error or Sage 50 Login Error, etc is rectified this time.

1. User Interface Modernization:

It is one of the most incredible change in this version of Sage. The main Sage 50 window has a new look which works best with higher resolution. The customization link which use to appear in shortcuts area is now replaced with a gear icon and your Sage 50 version (Pro, Premium and Quantum).

2. Inactive Inventory Items Based on Last Activity Date:

Selection of inventory items from last activity date has become very easy along with  marking the whole group as inactive. With the help of this feature you can now easily mark some out-of-date items which are inactive.

3. Cleared Column on Check Register:

You can now add extra column in your business reports.  These columns will be added to show Cleared Date which is found inCheck Register and Cash Disbursements Journal reports. You will have to click on Column button which appears in report window of your screen and check the Cleared date to show date of transaction which was cleared in account reconciliation.

4. Improved Options for Click to Pay:

Earlier in 2017.2 version update, Sage solutions had a Sage Payment Solution option which had a payment link in customers email invoices so they can easily make their payments. But this option was not very appreciated due to universally turning on feature which displays the “Pay Now” link for all the emailed invoices. Previously, you had to manually turn it off for each of your clients. But thankfully, version 2018 has resolved this problem for you.
