    Go to start option and select Run command.

  2. Step Two

    Type “Services.msc” and click on “OK”.

  3. Step Three

    Look for SQL server i.e. SQL Express.

  4. Step Four

    If the status shows that it is not started yet then start it manually.

    Click on “Start”, to start the process.

  6. Step Six

    As the Service control Pop up gets closed on its own, then user can see in following screen with status as Started.

  7. Step Seven

    User will now have to login to Sage application, they can easily log into Sage ACCPAC easily.

2. Solution Two

  • Check firewall setting in your system.
  • Go to control panel and switch the firewall off.
  • If Sage application can get connected to database, then switch on firewall.
  • There is also an option called “Allow a program or feature through Windows Firewall” switch it on.
  • Select SQL server which is present in list or browse it and add it.
